SHAKE IT LIKE A POLAROID PICTURE

IT’S BEEN A SLICE.

My book ninja days come to a close.

Trying to write a novel (auuugh no one wants to read a novel about boys kissing I’m doooooomed) while working a retail job, trying to maintain other awesome projects with friends that you really want to do and write about books (not to mention read them!) and still have time to write fanfiction and juggle two journals: not recommended for health. Something has been meaning to give for months. I’ve been trying to reach out of my LJ bubble since it’s so hard to reach into LJ without an account, but it’s simply not going to work for me. There’s not enough of me to go around (also I am lazy).

I did host the 8th Edition of the Bookworms Carnival: The Geography of Make-Believe. It was fun times and I met a lot of great bloggers (omg guys, thanks, I ♥ you all). Dewey, I’m still working on the PDF version!

Future carnivals related to mine: Scott is hosting the 11th Carnival, focused on urban and comtemporary fantasy and it will be fantastic because everyone is going to read some urban/contemporary fantasy and send him some links, right? Right?

BUT WHAT ABOUT—

The Speculative Fiction Challenge will remain updated until April. No worries. :D

WHERE WILL YOU BE?

Reading books, working on my kick-ass novel and still reading book blogs in google reader. Also plotting my future placement on a Cybils committee of some sort.

I will still be inflicting myself on the internet at my livejournal as I have been for years: bottle_of_shine. My RSS feed is http://bottle-of-shine.livejournal.com/data/rss/. I’ll still be writing about books; to read those posts and skip all the questionable fanfic, the RSS feed is http://bottle-of-shine.livejournal.com/data/rss?tag=books. My LJ account has open commenting; all users, anonymous or logged in, or OpenID users may drop me a line. :)

My e-mail remains thebookninja@gmail.com.

The book blog community is vast and diverse! Here are some of my favorite bloggers:
